After all, water IS life. 

Did you know that there’s a group of approximately 50,000 people that don’t have electricity, running water, or an in home toilet?  No, these people are not in central Africa, or Asia, but in the richest country in the world, the United States of America. 

The Navajo live on the USA’s largest Native American reservation, spread across 17 million acres of desert in the states of Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico. It’s estimated that 30-40% of these Native Americans live without basic necessities like water, today, in the year 2020. 

With your assistance, we can help them, so let’s help.  

A one time donation of $25 can give a family safe potable water, for years and years. 

Some Navajo get their water from a dirty river, or an old untrusted well. The lucky ones buy water from a truck that fills up a tank that’s in their yard. This water can sit in the tank for days, or weeks, and will change its pH and start to grow organic matter. 

I’m sure you and I would not want to drink this water. 

A gift of $25 can change this. 

We would like to deliver, teach, and install simple but effective water filters for these neglected First Americans. Because of these filters, this will be the first time in their life that they can drink water from a stream, a well, the rain, or a water tank with confidence! These filters do not need any replacement parts and last for years, and we at A Ripple drink river water from this same filter everyday. 

In the US, the Navajo have been hit THE hardest by Covid-19. More per capita Navajo have been affected by this virus than any place in the USA. We are currently near the Shiprock New Mexico area of the reservation. Here in this state, the Navajo are only 5% of the population but have 25% of the states Covid cases. Even though they are slowly getting a handle on this pandemic, our Dr. Suzanne sees cases every day. 

Can you help us give them a strong immune system, health, and love, in the form of the simplest of things, water?  

We know it’s difficult times financially, but drinking potable water should be a right for every human on earth, especially in the richest country in the world. 

As always, any kind gift will be used 100% on these neglected Native Americans.

They also say, “I grew up knowing it’s wrong to have more than you need. It means you’re not taking care of your people.”
